Girls only tea party

Four score and a few days ago

We spent the weekend with DeeDee and PopPop in PA and had loads of fun. We went swimming and jumped into the pool "all by iself". We went to Gettysburg for lunch and met Abe Lincoln and saw a real spindle, just like in Sleeping Beauty. Mommy is confused why there is a sharp end on a spindle if its function is to spin yard. You don't need any sharp points for that. The big highlight was driving the jeep! That's right, DeeDee inherited a Barbie jeep from a neighbor and Julia drove it all the way around the house. Not much can top that adventure!

Can you find Bella?

Hot in the city

Nothing like a little outdoor pool fun on a hot summer's day. We got a new pool that has fun sprinklers on it and Julia just loves to play in it.

Easy toys

Sometimes packaging becomes the most fun and easiest toys to play with.

I know you...

I walked with you once upon a dream. Someone has been watching Sleeping Beauty....

The Great Playdate

Best play date EVER. Julia got to spend half of Sunday with Mommy at her friend, Jamie's house. Jamie not only has the best playroom EVER. But she also has two kids to play with. Bridget and Julia got along so well. It must be the shared love of Sleeping Beauty, Strawberry Shortcake, babies and baby strollers. Sam was happy to play along as long as we were outside. Ms. Jamie made mac n cheese for lunch (how did she know?!!!!) and let us hang out and play. AND we had popsicles. It was a great day. Julia is already talking about having a playdate at our house (and what toys we need to get). A big shout out to Jamie for all the fun! And you don't live that far so we'll have to do this more. :) Yeah, Julia doesn't really get "smile" yet. For some reason, she thinks it means you should close your eyes.

Woo Woo!

Here comes the fire lady! There was a cute little street fair in Old Town on Saturday. We got to peek inside the historical fire station and saw a real fire truck and got to see the firemen use the big hose. The highlight was definitely this new hat! And lunch!
