Nine months

Granted, the light wasn't the best when I was shooting these pictures. But if you can't notice, Schuyler just doesn't sit still anymore. Which makes bedtime pretty much wonderful because she just passes out. Food is probably the only thing more exciting to her than crawling. She eats blueberries until her bum turns blue. She loves anything with tomato sauce. And she's a total breakfast buff loving pancakes, waffles, french toast and anything with cream cheese. She's also talking up a storm and waving to anyone who makes eye contact. I suppose she's not shy. This one is a troublemaker for sure. We were very lucky with Julia and never really had to childproof anything. I have a feeling it won't be the same with this nugget. We didn't nickname her Captain Stickyfingers for no reason!

And, she's off

Happy Fathers Day

We had a fairly low key Father's Day due to a fever in Ms. Julia. When she's sick, she is miserable. We managed to take Daddy out to breakfast, but since she had to stay home from school Monday from the fever, we missed the Father's Day party. Julia came home Tuesday with fabulous gifts. An awesome visor (who doesn't need some extra sun protection) and a nice pen holder for his office. It made Daddy all sparkly, inside and out. Probably the glitter stickers on the visor.

Gradulations

Combine graduation and congratulations, and you get...gradulations. The preschool ceremony for 'graduating' Genies was Friday and there was the cutest little ceremony. Not too much pomp and circumstance....the graduates all got cute "Abra Alum" tshirts. What's even cuter were all the older siblings who also wore their same tshirt. It's like a little secret society. The two non graduating classes each did small performances. Julia's class sang a pirate song. Super cute. The "ooh-ahh-choo-ahh" verse and respective body wiggles is priceless.

Quarantine

Julia is finally feeling better after two rounds of antibiotics. Of course, now Schuyler has a cold. She got her first fever Sunday and got the day off Monday for some needed R&R. She was super snuggly (and snotty) and was just too cute all curled up in her crib.

Better with two

Watching these two play together just melts your heart. I hope they stay as enamored with each other forever. I know, they won't. But let me pretend.

Summer is here!

The hot weather finally found us. And apparently it's just too hot for pants. Or maybe they were too wet after the slip n slide. It's not clear. But, it's true, summer is here and this mermaid can't wait to hit the pool and beach as much as possible.
